Greek Track and Field has played a significant role in the history and development of the sport, closely connected with the origins of the Olympic Games and the evolution of international competition. From the revival of the modern Olympics in Athens in 1896 to major successes on the European, World and Olympic stage, Greek athletes have contributed to the sport through performances, records and championship achievements across multiple generations.

This section of AthleticsLab is dedicated to the history, records, championships and ongoing development of athletics in Greece. Alongside current results and national records, the project aims to gradually document the historical progression of Greek athletics through archival research, statistical records and historical material spanning several decades of competition.
