World-class 200m running presents a wider performance-age distribution extending into the late twenties and beyond, indicating greater elite longevity and broader high-performance sustainability. The world sample demonstrates a stronger capacity for maintaining elite performance beyond age 28, highlighting differences in athlete retention and long-term performance sustainability.
On the other hand, while the global 200m dataset demonstrates maintaining strong elite representation throughout the 24-29 age range, the Greek Sample presents a sharper concentration around the early twenties. Greek sprint performance remains highly competitive during the primary development window but shows a narrower late-carreer elite representation relative to the global benchmark.
